SCM Warehouse Operations
The platform for modern 3PL operators

The warehouse,
not the spreadsheet.

SCM runs the physical side of a third-party logistics business — receipt, put-away, pick, pack, dispatch, returns, contract billing — all on one shared operating record. This page is a walk through it.

Dock 02 · Inbound · Shipment 0438

A truck reverses in.
The inbound wakes up.

Scan the dock sheet. Lines reconcile against the packing list. Short-shipped item? It's logged as a discrepancy on the row, and a notice is already on the receiving supervisor's screen — not at month-end.

8 stages, end-to-end Draft → Received Multi-bin put-away
Aisle A · bay 03 · level 2

Every pallet has a home,
and an audit trail.

Routing rules suggest the right bin. Stock levels, batches and expiry dates update the moment it's put away — and every movement is captured, so you can always answer where, when and who. Fresh-first, oldest-first, newest-first — configured per product, honoured everywhere.

Pick station · bundle build

Combo products
never sit in a bin.

Bundles and kits are built the moment an order lands, not stored on a shelf. Availability stays accurate in real time, and every component is tracked end-to-end — so what you sell always matches what ships.

Live availability Built on demand Fully traceable
Pack line · carton seal · weigh-in

Pack and weigh
in one motion.

Totes roll off the pick-line onto the pack bench. Carton is sealed, weighed, labelled. The order moves from Picked → Packed and the courier booking goes out automatically — no re-keying, no waiting.

Dispatch · shipment booked · docs ready

Out the door.
Finance already knows.

Courier cost lands on the shipment by delivery zone, the delivery note prints with the carton, and cash-on-delivery amounts reconcile back when the driver returns. Your customer sees the update in their portal before the truck is off the ramp.

What's inside

Sixteen operational modules,
one shared ledger.

Each one is a real page in the console, not a brochure claim. Below are the modules operators ask about on the first demo call.

01 · Inventory
Stock down to the bin
On-hand, reserved and every movement — tracked by product, batch, expiry and location. Fresh-first, oldest-first or newest-first, configured per product and respected everywhere.

02 · Inbound
Receive with discrepancy capture
Advance shipment notice, item-level receiving, optional quality check, multi-bin put-away. Short shipments and damages are logged and escalated, not lost.

03 · Orders
Allocate · pick · pack · dispatch
Stock-availability per line, confirm-and-allocate gate, guided picking, auto-generated labels and delivery notes the moment the carton is sealed.

04 · Combo products
Built on demand, never stocked
Bundles, kits and gift packs assembled the moment an order comes in. Availability stays live, and every component is tracked right through to dispatch.

05 · Movements
Relocations & transfers
Move stock between bins in a warehouse, or ship it between warehouses — both leave the same audit trail, and both can be billed.
Free-stock guardBillable
06 · Returns
Receive · grade · restock or scrap
Grade each line, route back to stock or to write-off, and bill the handling where the customer isn't on contract.
GradingRestock paths
07 · Contracts
Rate cards & charge rules
Price per unit, per volume, by slab or a flat fee — with sublines so one charge can carry fuel, labour and handling. Ad-hoc customers bill per transaction instead.

08 · Billing
From activity to invoice
Storage, handling, courier and cash-on-delivery — all reviewable before the invoice is cut, with nothing silently lost between the floor and finance.

09 · Courier & zones
Zones, costs & reconciliation
Delivery zones drive the courier rate, costs are captured at the shipment, and cash-on-delivery amounts reconcile back when the driver returns.

10 · Customer portal
What your customer signs into
Live stock, orders, inbound visibility, invoices and document alerts — scoped so each customer sees only what belongs to them, on your brand.
Role-gatedBranded login
11 · Ask your warehouse
Natural-language queries, safely
Ask questions of your own data in plain English. Anything that would change a record pauses for your sign-off — the assistant never acts on its own.

12 · Documents
PDFs, expiries, uploads
Attach documents to customers, contracts, inbound records, orders and returns — with expiry tracking and alerts so nothing lapses.

Mobile scanner app

The scanner in the aisle
is a first-class citizen.

A dedicated handheld app for your floor team — purpose-built for warehouse scanners, with a secure, offline-tolerant sign-in. Whatever happens on the floor shows up in the console in real time.

  • LoginSecure, per-company, offline-tolerant sign-in
  • InboundScan arrivals, receive by line, flag discrepancies at the dock

Billing model

Two modes per customer,
priced on what moved.

Contract customers price against a rate card. Ad-hoc customers pick up charges on the document itself. Either way, the invoice reflects what actually moved — nothing silently dropped, nothing double-billed.

Mode A · Contract
Rates come from the rate card.
A contract carries the billing cycle, the active window, and rate rules — per unit, per volume or by slab. Sublines let one charge carry fuel, labour and handling on a single line.

Pick & packper order line

Mode B · Per-transaction
Charges land on the document.
For ad-hoc customers, charges attach to the order, inbound or return directly. Contract customers can still pick up manual charges when no rule covers an unusual event — nothing chargeable goes missing.

Why operators choose it

Boring where it should be, opinionated where it matters.

One record

Floor, portal, finance and dispatch read from the same operating record. No reconciliations between four systems.

Multi-company

Run multiple legal entities with separate users, customers, rate cards and books — in one console, cleanly scoped.

Customer-facing

A branded portal where your customer sees their stock, orders and invoices live — on your domain, not a third party's.

Mobile-first floor

A dedicated scanner app for receiving, put-away, picking and packing — so the aisle keeps moving.

AI, with guardrails

Ask natural-language questions of your data. Anything that would change a record pauses for human approval.

Yours to run

Deploys on-premise or in your own cloud. No per-seat tax, no data leaving your perimeter.

See it with your own numbers

Book a walk-through.
We'll run your warehouse on it.

Thirty minutes, one of our operators, and a shared screen — we'll show you the receiving line, the pick floor, and the invoice run with sample data that looks like yours. No slide deck, no scripted tour.
